Terms of service
1. Who provides the service
Cosimo Luigi Manes, a natural person, running the platform in a personal capacity and not as a business, resident at Via Gherardo Robertoni, 5 — 73012 Campi Salentina (LE), Italy, tax code MNSCML86R23B506P, email info@reactivenet.ai (the «provider»).
These terms govern use of the reactivenet.ai website, the ReactiveNET
application and the ancillary services described below (together, «the
platform»). Using the platform means accepting them.
2. What the platform is
ReactiveNET lets you describe an application in a text document and run it in the browser. Its parts:
- the application, which interprets documents and keeps data in the browser;
- sharing links, long (the app travels inside the address) or short (the app is deposited, encrypted, on one of our servers);
- shared spaces, end-to-end encrypted synchronisation between several participants, with roles;
- the open-data service, read-only querying of Italian public datasets;
- the MCP server, which lets an AI assistant write and check an app.
3. The service is free, and is provided as it is
Use of the platform is entirely free of charge: no fee, no subscription, no obligation to buy anything, for any of the components in § 2.
No service level is guaranteed: the provider does not promise that the platform will always be reachable, free of defects or fit for any particular purpose, and may modify, suspend or discontinue it, giving reasonable notice where possible.
This neither excludes nor limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the mandatory rights the law grants consumers.
4. The data is the user’s, and so, therefore, are the backups
Apps and the data they produce stay in the user’s browser storage. The provider holds no copy of them and is unable to recover them.
It follows, bluntly: clearing the site’s data in the browser, using private browsing, uninstalling the browser or losing the device means losing any app that has not been exported elsewhere. The app offers export of the document as Markdown and of collections as CSV; using it regularly is the user’s responsibility.
The provider acquires no rights over user content. Over content deposited for synchronisation or for a short link it acquires only the technical ability to store and transmit it in order to provide the service — and in encrypted form it cannot read.
5. Accounts and shared spaces
The account for shared spaces is pseudonymous: no email address is required.
- Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for activity carried out with them.
- The password is the key to the encrypted content. Anyone who loses it without the recovery code loses access to their shared spaces and their content. There is no reset procedure, because there is no way to offer one without opening a back door in the encryption.
- Whoever creates a space administers it, invites others and assigns roles. Revoking a role prevents reading what happens after the revocation: what a member has already read or copied cannot be called back.
- A read-only participant may change their own local copy; their changes are not sent to the others.
6. Permitted use and prohibited uses
The platform may not be used to:
- publish or distribute unlawful or defamatory content, content infringing others’ intellectual property rights, or material unlawfully depicting minors;
- process third parties’ personal data in breach of applicable law;
- attempt to access others’ data or spaces, circumvent access controls, or attack the integrity and availability of the services;
- subject the shared services (short links, synchronisation, open data, MCP) to automated load disproportionate to ordinary use, or resell their capacity;
- send unsolicited communications or distribute malicious software.
The provider may suspend access to the shared services, and remove content deposited on its systems, where it detects use in breach of these rules or where required to do so by law or by an order of the authorities. Where possible it informs the person concerned.
The provider exercises no prior control over content: apps and their data live in users’ browsers and do not pass through it. On a reasoned report it removes what is deposited on its own systems.
7. Sharing links
Whoever generates a link shares the app with anyone who comes to hold it: a link is not an access control. The long link carries the app in the address and touches no server; the short link deposits the app, encrypted, on our systems, with the key in the address fragment, which does not reach us.
Short links are automatically deleted 120 days after they were last opened. A link is not an archive.
8. Open-data service
The service exposes third parties’ public data, read-only. The sources, with their licences and attribution requirements, are listed in the «Licences and attributions» document.
The provider does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or currency of the data, which remains as published by the bodies that own it, nor the continuity of the service. Decisions taken on the basis of that data are the responsibility of whoever takes them: for official use, verify the data at source.
The service accepts read-only queries and is subject to fair-use limits, which the provider may adjust to protect availability.
9. MCP server and AI assistants
The MCP server has no authentication, stores nothing, and offers lookup and validation functions. The fair-use limit in § 8 applies.
Apps generated by an AI assistant must be read before they are used: an assistant can be wrong, and a document that looks right may collect the wrong data or none at all. The provider is not answerable for content generated by a third-party model. The conversation with the assistant takes place at the AI provider chosen by the user, under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
10. Intellectual property
The software, the website, the documentation, the «ReactiveNET» trade mark and the logo belong to Cosimo Luigi Manes, creator of the platform and holder of its copyright (© Cosimo Luigi Manes), or to their respective owners for third-party components. The terms on which the software may be used, the licences of third-party components and the attributions owed to data sources are in the «Licences and attributions» document.
Content created by users remains theirs.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit, loss of data the user has not exported, or the use the user makes of the apps they build — including the consequences of processing third parties’ personal data through an app, in respect of which the user is an independent controller.
Liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, liability for personal injury, and any other liability that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms limits consumers’ mandatory statutory rights.
The user holds the provider harmless from third-party claims arising from use of the platform in breach of § 6.
12. Term and termination
Use of the platform may cease at any time, simply by no longer using it; deletion of an account is requested by writing to the provider, who carries it out within 30 days together with the associated data.
The provider may discontinue the shared services on reasonable notice given to registered users; in that case the application keeps working in the browser, because it does not depend on them.
13. Changes to these terms
Changes are published on this page with a new version and date. Substantial changes are notified to registered users at least 15 days in advance; anyone who does not accept them may stop using the services concerned.
14. Governing law and disputes
Italian law applies.
For disputes with parties not acting as consumers, the courts of Lecce have exclusive jurisdiction. For disputes with a consumer, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or elected domicile has jurisdiction where located in Italy, and the consumer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform, where available, or the competent ADR bodies.
