Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of the reactivenet.ai website, the app.reactivenet.ai application and the relay.reactivenet.ai synchronisation service (together, “Reactive”), made available by Cosimo Luigi Manes (the “Author”). By using Reactive you accept these Terms.

1. What Reactive is

Reactive is a tool that turns a Markdown document into an interactive application running entirely in the user’s browser. It has no accounts and, except for the optional synchronisation feature, stores no user data on any server. For how it works in detail, see the Privacy Policy.

2. Permitted use

You agree to use Reactive lawfully and not to:

• use it to create, store or distribute unlawful content, content that infringes others’ rights, or harmful content;
• attempt to compromise its security, operation or infrastructure (including the sync relay);
• abuse shared resources, for example by sending traffic or data to an extent that degrades the service for other users.

3. Your content

The documents and data you create with Reactive remain yours. The Author claims no ownership of them and, except for the synchronisation feature (where it processes only encrypted blobs it cannot read), has no access to them.

You are solely responsible for the content you create, import, synchronise or share, and for the people you share it with. The “Share app” feature places the entire document inside the link: consider carefully before sharing confidential information.

4. No warranty

Reactive is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including — by way of example — fitness for a particular purpose, continuity, or freedom from errors or interruptions.

In particular, because your apps’ data is saved in your device’s local storage, it may be lost (for example by clearing browser data, using private browsing, or through device malfunctions). You are responsible for backing up the documents you care about (export feature).

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Author is not liable for direct or indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profit or other harm arising from the use of, or inability to use, Reactive. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

6. Service availability

Reactive is offered free of charge. The Author may modify, suspend or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. The application, running in your browser, generally keeps working offline even without a connection, but the synchronisation service requires the relay to be active.

7. Intellectual property

The Reactive software, name, logo and website content are owned by the Author and protected by copyright law. See the Legal notice. User-created content is excluded and belongs to its respective authors.

8. Changes to the Terms

The Author may update these Terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top. Continued use of Reactive after changes are published constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence remain unaffected.
